So, I'll be blatantly self promotional and post 2 of my latest piano pieces, the first two nocturnes in a series which might get pretty big! I've considered naming these pieces something more oceanic…

Writing effectively for piano

My piano writing sucks. And I know it. First, I'm a linear thinker, and the piano is not primarily a linear instrument. This means that my writing tends to be 2 lines, one for each hand, with occasio…

Piano approaches

Nice thing about the piano is the range, harmonic possibilities, resonances. It's a percussion instrument, melodic, harmonic, it's capable of a great amount of dynamic range. There are pianistic devi…

I'm sending it to Richard. :) Do you have a brief story or comment to go along with the mp3?

Neil, I love this piece! I love the melody, passion and technique. You are a genius! Listening again and again.

Thanks for taking the time to learn how to post your link! Bravo, yes? I went to Walt Disney Music Hall on my BD to see Zubin Mehta conducting the LA Phil -- Bartok and Beethoven. Yefim Bronfman, regarded as one of the most talented virtuoso pianists performing today for worldwide audiences.

Oh!
Thanks, Greg!
But I didn't see a blue arrow like the ones I see over at Shorties etc?
Greg Hooper Comment by Greg Hooper 16 hours ago
add hyperlink is the only one you need to post a music file - you got it right on the second to last one
Neil Goodchild Comment by Neil Goodchild 16 hours ago
So there's 7 options: "B" - "I" - "U", then there's "Strikethrough" - "Add Hyperlink" - "Add an Image" and then "Upload a File".

So there's "Add Hyperlink" but I don't have "link image", but I do have "Add an Image"...

Try this
1.you have to type in a title in the post first
then highlight the title you just typed - that's to tell the software you want to make it a link to something
2.then you click on the link image in the bar at the top of the little window you are making your post in
a box pops up called "add hyperlink"
3.paste in the url of your piece of music
4. click on save and the add hyperlink box should close and the title you hghlighted should now be a playing link

Greg! Jeff's tried explaining all this to me but, hey, I'm a dunce - just can't seem to get it. I'm still trying to work out how to get the little blue arrow player thing happening that all else seem to be able to do - except me. Argh!
