okay............before Neil and his cat are posting a meow an hour, never mind a day, what makes a miniature a valid, effective bit of positive contribution to the collective Body Art?

I'm pretty open-minded myself, and if something works for me it works, and i try not to get too hung up on the whys of it.

That said, I'm much more open as a listener than i seem to be as a composer........and for me, i really need some angle on it all to click before i can put something out and hope it's any good........and for me at least, that's a tall order on a one-a-day schedule. But, i think it's not only doable ,but instructive as well, and I've certainly learned a lot from trying both it and it to the level of keeping myself interested and creatively satisfied with the results /

thoughts?

One minute pieces everywhere:
Starting in January 2010, the contemporary concert series is based on the relationship between the literature of architecture and music. As a motto there will be a one minute mini-composition at the beginning of each concert, composed by the students in the Music Academy Composer Department. The topic of each piece will be a contemporary building in Budapest, thus providing a starting point for discussion between architects and musicians. The first concert in the series is based on the works of architect Péter Mátrai.
