Well I've been living in Denmark for the last five years, working for a Danish music publisher - Edition Samfundet - we publish quite a lot on interesting new Danish stuff as well as the more traditional, and pursuing all kinds of musical projects of my own. You can follow a good deal of it on my website...
Hi Emily
It's been nice to stumble across some old faces from the Holland days. And so here you are as well! I'm on my way to check out your website - just caught a quick glance of the wide open spaces - mmm.
I wondered why I couldn't place you on the Seattle scene (I moved away a year ago, after 25 years there). Beautiful work, Emily. I lived a block from Cornish; best luck there, and say hi to Joe Bar for me (and to Jarrad, and Binko at Kobo, and Steve Peters...sigh...)
I'm well, thanks, and congrats on the Cornish gig! It's great that you're in the area now. Not sure exactly what I'm doing at Jack Straw yet (a brief talk & excerpts) but it'll be fun. See you soon.
Yes... I'm with DXARTS at UW. Hope the move to Seattle went well, and if you have any questions about the area just let me know.
As for concerts, keep an eye on the Chapel:

and DXARTS has a concert in October, featuring violist Garth Knox (Grisey and Saariaho I believe) and (probably) a performance of a Xenakis' Legende D'Eer.
