Sweet! Thanks. Yes, I heard those RMS quartets, they are incredible. #9 routinely kicks my ass. It is a tremendously beautiful piece. I hope he keeps them coming!
I haven't for while. I used to brew fairly regularly. I used to brew alcoholic, sparking ginger beers, melomels, meads and the odd beer. I've got the hankering to brew again. Did you get the seat on the AMC board? I hope so.
Hi again Jay,
Thanks for the message. Consemble is inspired by things like social networking and is my attempt to offer the opportunity to an online audience to take part in building indeterminate compositions.
The idea is that you listen to the existing Consembles and then send me the sounds you think ought to be included. The sounds can be very short up to a max of 10 secs (mp3s preferred). I feel your work would suit any of the projects but perhaps, in particular Consemble F and/or Consemble G. Some percussion would be welcome but it's completely up to you. All participants get a credit and a link to their site.
all the best,
Paul

Hello Jay, I was wondering if you would like to take part in an online, indeterminate sound art project I am running called Consemble?
The idea is that people listen to the current Consembles and then send the sounds they think ought to be included. Every time the Consembles are played they are different as the sounds are chosen randomly.
General information is at http://www.chameleonlectra.co.uk/Consemble.html
Questions welcome.
It would be great to have some percussive sounds from you!
all the best,
Paul

Ludwig Van Halen? Oh oh, Jay's gone off his meds again... ;-)
Hello Jay,
Always happy to meet a new music friend - sometimes I am slow to reply but it only means I am busy with other things. Beautiful sounds you have there! As you may already know I am very keen on percussion...
Best wishes,
Elodie
