Hello Jukka-Pekka, thank you for your contribution to Consemble G. I really like your own site and enjoyed your music there. On this page I particularly like the Diptych work - very inspiring for composition.
sonority #1 and 2 are just awesome pieces. Glad I had the chance to hear them.

You know the story about old Hokusai? painting a lion every day... Until about 1000 lions... (told beautifully by Cees Nooteboom in one of his travelogues)
Thank you very much. I really need to get some music put up here, but I keep forgetting to do it. Maybe this will remind me. Now, if I could just find some time!
I was thinking about your comments on your music this morning and was wondering about how you start on a new piece. I know you said the idea comes first, but how much of a musical idea do you generally have before using the computer? For example, what started "other sentences?" Thanks again for indulging me.
I really like your work. I hope you will indulge me witha few questions. How did you compose "other sentences?" How did you arrive at the choice of instruments? How are you making this music so fast? :-)

Just wanted to stop back and say how much I'm enjoying these piano and computer sound pieces you've been doing. Great series!

What is this exactly? Did you just slow down my version?
