Thanks for getting in contact Shelley - you sound like you need a rest!
Consemble is open until end of Aug so no hurry.
I'd be very honoured to have a contribution from you
Hi Shelley, I've left a message in your inbox re: Consemble.
I'd love to have some clarinet sounds in the project (perhaps 'skywriting'?)
all the best,
Paul

Profile Information
short bio
Shelly Bauer has mostly been known as clarinet player. As a clarinetist she has performed at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, BAM, and the Whitney Museum. With a Masters in Music Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music, Bauer is also a dedicated educator and heads the band program for the Promise Academy Charter Schools in NYC. In recent years, she's expanded her creativity to composing. Her first professional exposer as a composer came when she was asked by fellow artist Skooby Laposky to collaborate on some of his original ideas. From the growth of their collaboration, the group Oratai was formed. In their first review of their album Mountains and Myths Bauer was praised as "uber-talented..." Since then she has composed catchy children's songs like "Harlem Streets". While steadily completing a children's album of educational music, Bauer has been diligently working to complete her first solo album of original classical pieces. If all goes as planned, Bauer is expected to release her solo album of original classical works on May 3, 2009. Currently she composes music for runway shows, like the "Techno Charleston" but is also slowly breaking into writing music for film and dance. Oratai's piece "Caravan's Decent" has been used in the film "Just to Get A Rep."
