- Yii is an active composer. He is the winner of Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra Forum for Malaysian Composers 2 in 2007. Yii was also awarded 3rd prize of International Composition for Chinese Orchestra organized by Singapore Chinese Orchestra in 2006. His music has been performed in U.S.A, Germany, Bangkok, Hanoi, Malaysia, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore. Yii is currently a senior lecturer of SEGi College, music department.
