was born in Zurich, Switzerland, studied composition, cello and conducting in London with Melanie Daiken, William Mival and Lawrance Leonard, and electronic and computer music in The Hague/Netherlands, with Clarence Barlow and Joel Ryan. The latters highly individual and influential approach towards composition and live-electronics has stongly informed his own musical aestetics.
