SHSK’H Volume 03 is now available online.
This new album contains four exclusive works by composers Kenneth Kirschner, Aaron Siegel, Igor Ballereau and Giuliano D’Angiolini. All of these four pieces were born from a common principle : the use of a single acoustic instrument type to produce polyphonic textures.

Kenneth Kirschner consists of electronically multiplied and processed flute sounds (drifting in and out of silence in majestic microtonal waves).
-
Our reluctance is overstated by
Aaron Siegel is a monolithic multi-layered drone of timpani (hiding expressive details in the folds of its intense texture).
-
Noctis Labyrinthus by
Igor Ballereau intertwines two slightly detuned double bass quartets (in a slow progression of intricate patterns).
-
Monochrome pour Igor by
Giuliano D’Angiolini uses five diversely muted trombone parts (scarcely underlining the rumbling of the world all around them).
Vol.03 can be streamed and downloaded on the
SHSK’H website.
Although our goal is to freely share our work with you, we would like to remind those who enjoy it that they can contribute by paying the sum of their choice when or after downloading the music. This will greatly help the production of future volumes.
